Bodelwyddan Castle Hotel in North Wales sitting on a hill top with views across the valleys. Reconstructed between 1830 and 1832 and now with a £6 million renovation and a 4 Star hotel. Some rooms have an open Landscaped exterior views.
Have just enjoyed four nights at Warner Leisure's Bodelwyddan Castle Hotel, staying in one of their relatively new Lodges, which did not dissapoint, being very comfortable with the added benefit of Warners Signature Experience which included Wine on arrival, fresh milk daily and cosy bathrobes.
The food and entertainment were up to the really good standards we have come to expect!
Even the stormy weather last week did not dampen our spirits.
Will definitely visit again.
Usual Warner standards...Great room, excellent food with multiple choices from buffet or brought to the table from kitchen by the waitress.Friendly staff in all areas, great entertainment, good leisure suite, although the pool is not very large, beautiful gardens with lots of areas to sit & enjoy them & the fabulous views across to Mt Snowdon.
Have stayed here a few times but this year was the best yet. Incredibly tasty and varied food and the friendliest and mist helpful staff you could wish to meet. The room was excellent and the entertainment was first class. Thanks for a great time guys!
Excellent 2 night break - Great accommodation we had a Garden Lodge room upgraded to signature room with balcony. Great views, Great grounds. Leisurev Great food and excellent entertainment.Excellent grounds for walking around. for walking aroundLeisure facilities.
Went as 2 people in our late 50s on a DJ Thomas coach trip. Food was great, allocation of evening table and entertainment good idea, signiture room spacious, clean and modern. Staff excellent especially entertainment/activities team. Plenty to do. Pool and sauna of high quality. Only had 1 full day at the hotel and had a fab tour of the grounds by Graham who was very knowledgeable and engaging. Gift shop was reasonable and we have some lovely momentos.
Only criticism was I found it quite cold by stage. However a few good bops and I was sweating conkers.
Great location for visiting Chester and Llandudno.
Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed another stay at this lovely hotel that as other reviewers have said attracts a mainly older clientele. The main attraction must be the no children rule that is brilliant. The signature rooms are amazing as many have said and even better if you get a deal.
The food is great, wonderful roasts, amazing authentic curries and a huge selection of pies and fish etc. to suit all. Be careful were you sit though, avoid the busy gangways. The entertainment is very good but the pre booking of seats is annoying as many have said, some good seats are just left empty or you end up being squashed together and your view blocked.
Baffling seeing heavy rock being belted out loudly to the many geriatrics but still enjoyable to people who were young when the original songs were around.
Regarding previous reviewer who thought breakfast till 10am early, what time did they want breakfast, 11.30am. Ridiculous complaint! Visitors need to get out and about when staying, Conway and Beaumaris are lovely.
